Make your next career move and join our dedicated Day Surgery team at St John of God Berwick Hospital.
Key Responsibilities

- Provide patients and families with appropriate education regarding procedures, recovery, medications, wound care and discharge requirements.
- Contribute to safe and effective discharge planning, ensuring patients are appropriately assessed and prepared for discharge following day surgery.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and provide clear clinical handover.
- Maintain high standards of infection prevention and control, medication safety and clinical practice.
- Contribute to a positive team culture and exceptional patient experience.
To succeed in this role, you will have well-developed clinical assessment, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide safe, compassionate and patient-centred care within a busy day surgery environment.
