Job description:

Specific Care is an NDIS provider seeking a compassionate and reliable Enrolled Nurse with a minimum of one year's experience to support NDIS participants and home care clients in the community.

You will provide person-centred nursing care and practical support that promotes clients' health, wellbeing and independence in their own homes.

About the role

• Deliver nursing care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, within your scope of practice.

• Provide support to people with disability and home care clients, tailored to their individual needs and care plans.

• Assist with personal care, daily living activities, medication administration and clinical tasks within your competencies.

• Assist with wound care, health monitoring and ongoing nursing support as required.

• Monitor clients' health and wellbeing and promptly report changes or concerns to the supervising Registered Nurse.

• Maintain accurate clinical notes, medication records and incident reports.

• Work collaboratively with clients, families, support workers and healthcare professionals.

• Uphold clients' dignity, privacy, choice and control.

About you

• Diploma of Nursing and current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.

• A minimum of one year's experience working as an Enrolled Nurse is essential.

• A compassionate, patient and respectful approach to supporting people with disability and home care clients.

• Strong communication, organisation and clinical documentation skills.

• Ability to follow individual care plans, recognise changes in health and seek clinical guidance when needed.

• Ability to work independently within your role and collaboratively with the wider team.

• Experience in disability support, community nursing or home care is desirable.

• Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle are preferred.

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one before commencing.
