The unit is formerly known as the Commercial Travellers Ward. It was named after the Commercial Travellers Association of NSW, which supported the hospital for over a century. Nurses working on this ward operate within a team nursing model, collaborating closely with a diverse range of healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, dieticians, child life therapists, and allied health assistants.
